IrSimpleTM Adapter

IR4020U/IR4021U (IrSimple & IrDA VFIR/FIR USB Adapter, supports Win7,Vista, Linux/Mac)   

  • This series has 2 models: IR4020U is VFIR (16 Mbps); IR4021U is FIR (4 Mbps)
  • Fully compliant to USB specification 2.0
  • Fully compliant to IrDA serial infrared physical layer specification 1.4
  • Supports Win98SE/2K/XP/Vista (32 bit only), Win7, Linux & Mac 10.2x or above (Power PC only; not Intel Based PC)
  • Full-speed USB device operation
  • Bus-powered device. Obtain power from USB port. No external power supply required.
  • Low power consumption in standby mode (Standby current is less than 0.5 mA)
  • Not occupy PC's COM or Parallel port and has no complicated hardware port and resource setting.
  • Note: The existing bundled driver could play IrDA function only! Still you can also run IrSimple application as long as you use compatible driver/software yourself.

IrS4020/IrS4021 (IrSimple (TM) & IrDA (R) VFIR/FIR Windows Software and USB Dongle Bundle) – Auto switch among IrDA, IrSimple-Bi & -Uni modes; In Primary or Secondary role; Supports VFIR/FIR/SIR & Win7/ Win Vista/XP/2000.

  • Package includes ACT-IrS402xSW software and ACT-IrS402xU dongle. This series has two models: ACT-IrS4020 (VFIR) and ACT-IrS4021 (FIR).

  • Supports IrDA & IrSimple (Uni-Mode & Bi-Mode) in Primary & Secondary roles.

  •  Supports SIR (9.6 k ~ 115.2 kbps), MIR (0.576 Mbps), FIR (4 Mbps), & VFIR (16 Mbps) through USB 2.0 port (high speed, 480 Mbps) and Windows software.

  • Throughput achieved:
    IrSimple Uni-Mode: >3.59 Mbps (in FIR) and >11.33 Mbps (in VFIR)
    IrSimple Bi-Mode:   >3.52 Mbps (in FIR) and >10.06 Mbps (in VFIR).

  • No limit in File Size. (Tested up to 20MB).

IrSimple Probe Analyzer & Tester

IR9005 (IrSimple Protocol Debug & Test Suite - FIR) –Supports Vista.

  • Facilitates testing and debugging of IrSimple LAP, LMP, SMP and OBEX Layers.

  • Supports both IrSimple Primary and Secondary devices.

  • Supports IrDA-D1.1 FIR (4 Mbps), MIR (0.576 & 1.152 Mbps) and SIR (9.6~115.2 kbps) through USB1.1 port and Windows software.

  • The only tester that implemented all 209 IrSimple Test Cases, as per IrSimple Test Spec-v1.0.

  • Test software and Debugger intelligence are easily upgradeable and expandable.

  • Recently approved by IrDA as the “official” IrSimple test tool to qualify IrSimple devices.
