Prior to placing your order for the ACT-IR2000L, we would like you to FAX or e-mail this completed form back to us, at FAX: 510-623-7268 or irda-info@actisys.com.

ACTiSYS guarantees that the IR2000L is IrDA compliant and it works at the specified IR speeds, provided appropriate hardware device drivers, operating system IR drivers and application programs are used. If needed, ACTiSYS can ship IR2000L with Windows 95 FIR driver, IR3.0 Beta from Microsoft (For evaluation only, Not a supported product!) and /or Device Driver for the FIR I/O chip (provided by the chip manufacturer).

Please check with your system and/or motherboard manufacturers to confirm that they are IrDA compatible, SIR or FIR capable? Before purchasing, please answer the following questions for your own benefit:

1. Does your motherboard have IrDA functions, SIR or FIR (Fast IR)?
2. What is the IrDA I/O chip used, brand name and model #?
3. Did you check with the manufacturers to be sure this motherboard does meet the IrDA-FIR specification?

We are not responsible if the IrDA SIR or FIR function on the motherboard does not work properly. We are also not responsible for the integrity or the support of the Microsoft IR3.0 driver or Windows 98 IR driver, nor the I/O chip device driver from

the respective chip manufacturers. IR2000L is not refundable, and only upgradeable to IR2000B+IR2000L or IR220L models.
